Replay Desk is a Windows app that runs on your own computer. It doesn't have accounts, it doesn't track how you use it, and it never uploads your videos.

What stays on your PC

Everything Replay Desk records, your clips and compilations, your settings and hotkeys are stored on your computer. They're never sent to us or anyone else.

What the app sends over the internet

• Update checks. About once an hour, the app asks GitHub whether a newer version of Replay Desk exists. GitHub sees your IP address, like it would for any website visit.
• License checks. When you enter a license key, and every few days after that, the app sends the key and your computer's name to the store that sold it, to confirm it's valid. Nothing else is sent.

Send to phone

When you send a video to your phone, it travels directly from your PC to your phone over your home network. It doesn't pass through the internet or any server. Each link only opens the one video you picked and stops working after an hour.

Buying a license

Purchases are handled by our payment provider, which acts as the seller and processes your payment, receipt and sales tax. Your card details go to them, not to us. Their privacy policy covers that information.
